Sports

BIIF competition is for grades 9-12 only. Sports participation (which sports the school enters) for each member school, has to be declared in June of the previous year.

At Hualalai Academy we have three sport seasons - fall, winter and spring. 

For the winter season, outrigger canoe paddling practice started October 31st, with the first race in December. We have had between 20 and 22 students out for the sport in the past several years. The coach is Ms. White.

BIIF boys volleyball competition is held in the spring and runs from February to the beginning of May. The volleyball team is coached by Rick Steger. We have had golf players in the past, but do not have any players this year.

We also participate in BIIF Cross country.

Hualalai Academy has had great participation by parents, both as coaches and volunteers.
